Our mission at Dance for Joy is to help dancers from all walks of life find joy within the art of dance, including but not limited to: ballet, tap, modern, and ballroom in a safe and non-competitive Christian environment.

We are thrilled to bring the Tap For All program to Georgia! We offer Tap for All classes throughout the Gainesville region by bringing it to you! Contact us today to find out how to bring Tap for All to your organization! Studio classes, including ballet, tap and ballroom will be offered in the near future in the greater Gainesville area!

Promoting positive body image, ability, encouragement, and dance agelessness, Tap for All classes bring diversity and inclusion, and sees the ability in someone with a disability.

Amy Metz started dancing when she could barely walk and began formal training early in life. She has studied classical ballet, tap, jazz, and modern over the years through different private studios as well as studying ballroom with Fred Astaire Dance Studios. She studied ballet technique through Ballet Magnificat and Hosanna Ballet summer
Amy Metz started dancing when she could barely walk and began formal training early in life. She has studied classical ballet, tap, jazz, and modern over the years through different private studios as well as studying ballroom with Fred Astaire Dance Studios. She studied ballet technique through Ballet Magnificat and Hosanna Ballet summer intensives throughout her training years. In college, Amy studied all dance forms as well as dance pedagogy at The University of Georgia.
Miss Amy continues her education with the Cecchetti Council of America and is a CCA Ballet Associate Member, having taken and passed the teaching examinations for primary levels and grades 1, 2, 3 and 4. She most recently completed the certification program for Tap for All with Victoria Moore.
